Terms of Service

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These terms explain the rules for using converterusa.com and the general conditions under which we provide our services. Please read them before using the website or ordering a project.

In short
Every project has a written proposal with a fixed scope, price and timeline.
Once you've paid in full, what we build for you is yours.
We don't promise specific business results, but we always do careful, honest work.

01About these terms

converterusa.com is operated by Jonáš Škorvanek, Jánošíkova 42, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia (company ID: 57 768 986) — "Converter", "we" or "us".

These terms apply to your use of this website and to the services we provide. By using the website or ordering a service, you agree to them.

Our services are intended for businesses, not for consumers. By ordering a service, you confirm that you're acting on behalf of a business and have the authority to agree to these terms.

02Using our website

You may use this website to learn about our services and contact us. When you use it, you agree not to:
- try to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers or connected systems
- upload or send malicious code, spam or unlawful content through our forms
- copy, resell or republish the website's content or design without our permission
- interfere with the website's security or performance

The information on the website, including examples, timelines and estimates, is for general information only and doesn't create a binding offer.

03Our services

We provide websites, workflow automation and AI chatbots for businesses. The descriptions on this website give a general overview.

The exact scope, deliverables, price, timeline and payment terms of each project are set out in a written proposal or agreement (for example, a statement of work). If anything in that proposal or agreement differs from these terms, the proposal or agreement takes priority.

04Proposals and orders

  • After a consultation, we send you a written proposal describing what we'll build, the price and the timeline.
  • Unless stated otherwise, a proposal is valid for 30 days.
  • A project starts once you accept the proposal or sign the agreement, which can be done electronically, and pay any agreed deposit.
  • We may decline a project at our discretion, for example if it's outside our expertise.

05Prices and payment

  • Prices are fixed for the agreed scope and stated in the proposal, including the currency.
  • Payment terms, such as a deposit, milestone payments and due dates, are set out in the proposal or agreement.
  • If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it's received. Agreed deadlines are extended accordingly.
  • Fees for third-party tools and subscriptions (for example, hosting, automation platforms or AI services) are not included unless the proposal says so.
  • You're responsible for any taxes that apply to you in your country.

06Your responsibilities

To deliver on time, we need your help. You agree to:
- provide the content, information and access we need, on time
- give feedback within the agreed review periods
- make sure you have the rights to any materials you give us, such as logos, texts and images
- keep your own accounts and passwords secure

If a delay is caused by missing content, access or feedback, the timeline moves accordingly.

07Changes to the scope

If you'd like to add or change something during the project, let us know. We'll confirm in writing whether the change affects the price or timeline before we start working on it. Changes are only binding once both sides agree to them in writing (email is enough).

08Ownership of the work

  • Once you've paid in full, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you — such as your website design, content and automation workflows.
  • We keep the rights to our own tools, templates, know-how and general building blocks that we use across projects. You receive a permanent right to use them as part of your deliverables.
  • Third-party platforms and software (for example, Framer, Make or OpenAI) remain subject to their own terms and licenses.
  • Unless you ask us not to, we may mention you as a client and show the finished work in our portfolio. We never share confidential information.

09Third-party services

Our solutions often run on third-party platforms. We choose reliable providers, but we don't control their availability, features or pricing. If a provider changes its service in a way that affects your solution, we'll let you know and suggest a fix. Any work needed beyond the original scope is agreed separately.

10AI-powered solutions

AI chatbots and AI-based automations generate responses automatically. We configure them to answer from content you approve and test them before launch, but AI can still make mistakes.

You're responsible for the content you approve, for how the outputs are used in your business and for informing your customers that they're interacting with an AI assistant where required. AI solutions shouldn't be used as the only basis for legal, medical, financial or other high-risk decisions.

11Warranties and liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, and we fix defects in our work that you report within 30 days of delivery at no extra cost.

We can't guarantee specific business results, such as a number of leads, sales or search rankings, because they depend on many factors outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law:
- our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in the 12 months before the claim
- we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12Confidentiality

Both sides agree to keep confidential any non-public information received from the other side during our cooperation, such as business data, customer information and login details, and to use it only for the purpose of the project.

13Ending the cooperation

Either side may end a project as described in the proposal or agreement. If a project ends early, you pay for the work completed up to that point, and we hand over the work you've paid for. Ongoing services, such as monitoring or support, can be cancelled with the notice period stated in the agreement.

14Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. If a disagreement arises, we'll first try to resolve it together in good faith. If we can't, the dispute will be decided by the competent courts of Slovakia, unless the agreement for your project says otherwise.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Changes don't affect projects that have already been agreed, unless both sides agree otherwise.
